And, now we're off for another summertime adventure...

To celebrate our 10 year anniversary in Las Vegas! What an awesome surprise JR! Thanks!

Summer has been good to us, so far!

With the exception of a few things, we really haven't planned much for summertime. We love being able to just hang out, have lazy days-or catch worms in the dirt days-for that matter. We love summer time, and so far it has been a good one-extreme heat and all.

We have spent many a summer night at T's baseball games, and it's tons of fun. He's so talented and we're really proud of him. He is working hard at pitching and just loving it! We'll be sad when it's over!

Stylin? I think so!

If there's one thing I'm obsessed with, it's old buildings. The Pittock Mansion is an incredible structure and so well preserved. I am wild about it, and JR even (kindly and probably not much to his liking) took me there for a birthday surprise once. We went back with the kids when Omi was in town. My kids liked it so much they even want to go back for the "behind the scenes" tour. Can you tell I'm trying to brainwash them into loving Jane Austen style prose and scenery? Sorry JR.

In the beautiful music room at the Pittock Mansion.
We had a great visit from Omi a few weeks ago! It was a blast! We went to the beach, the Rhododendron Gardens, and the Pittock Mansion. So fun! We miss you, Omi!
At the tidepools-lowetide to check out some fun things! The kids especially loved turning over rocks to find them.
Sand buddies-they had such a blast on the beach and built an awesome sand fort.
At Pirate's Cove for Father's Day-just doing what he does best...making everyone laugh and being a great dad!
E loved the crabs the kids were catching. She really wanted to eat them! I guess she's got very refined taste buds.
Outside the condo at the beach! The kids loved watching the train go by.
