What lies ahead...
We have been sitting here tonight, digesting the happenings of the day. I think we finally realized we're tired...truly tired and couldn't fully catch breath until the moment we heard that Grace's body was Cancer free. But, despite the emotional and physical exhaustion is a feeling so potent and powerful that it has to be declared loudly! We are so profoundly, undeniably grateful to our Heavenly Father. It would not be possible to get through this without His Divine guidance and without the angels we feel holding us up. We are overwhelmed at the generosity, the faith, the optimism and the collective prayers that have been done in our family's behalf. Those are the very things that curb the fatigue. Those are the very things that make it not only possible, but simply do-able to get up each morning and not question whether we will get through this. I knew a girl once who got through a horrific ordeal, and when asked how she felt looking back at it, she didn't respond in a way one might have thought-she said she felt triumphant. We fully anticipate feeling triumphant at the end of this arduous road. We just feel so grateful to each of you-Grace's cheering section-and cannot stress enough how your faith has sustained us. So, what lies ahead is 2 1/2 more years of chemotherapy and probably a lot of bumps and rollercoasters....but somehow we don't feel afraid anymore.

I am trying so hard not to cry, cause i have this nasty cold and it will only make it worse. But I just love how much people care and are willing to help others out. Those cranes all lined up are so beautiful!!!!! NEVER take them down!!!!!!! You guys are so amazing. If you weren't so darn nice and special yourselves. Your story wouldn't affect so many people, like it has effected me!!! You guys are again AMAZING!!!!! I am so glad she is home and doing better!!!!!! You'll always be in our prayers!!!!
Your faith is so inspiring. I'm so thrilled for you guys!
I'm sure it comes and goes, just know that when you have those downs, you have so many who love you and would love to pick up the pieces (by the way, I am referring to myself.....). You guys are an inspiration!
We remain here for you and your precious family. Anything, Anything, Anything we can do big or small please call. We are so happy to hear your wonderful news and will continue to keep each one of you in our thoughts and prayers. You are an amazing family and wonderful friends
i remember when some reporter interviewed Elizabeth Smart and when reflecting upon everything that she endured, she exclaimed with such certainty that she now felt, "triumphant". it struck me in a way that empowered me for years. i am refreshed to here that as the both of you look back on this last month, you feel, "triumphant" - because i feel that it is the best way to feel after a struggle such as this.
