Chemo
Grace had chemo today and did an amazing job! In fact-she beat her own record. She was able to access her port in 4 minutes flat! And, she let me de-access it in 2 minutes time! WOW WOW WOW! If you were a fly on the wall when we first started chemo-you'd see that it took nearly an hour just to access her and that's not including giving her chemo. But, she's made HUGE strides and she was just so proud today! So, hopefully this round won't hit her too hard and she'll feel alright. She also starts her monthly dose of steroids today-YUCK. But, forget all that-today Grace OWNED her chemo session-and we couldn't be prouder-way to take something terrible and make it triumphant, Grace!

Way to go Grace! We are so proud of you for taking something that is truly difficult, and mastering it. That is a good lesson for life that will serve you well.
Lot's of love from California!
It is amazing to watch our children grow and strengthen through such hard times. We wish they didn't have to have all this strength at such a young age, but my mother in law reminded me tonight of something wonderful. She reminded me that our sweet daughters knew everything that they were going to face before coming to this world, they accepted the challenge with willing and loving hearts knowing that they were strong enough and had enough love and support in this life to make it through. I remember wishing they didn't have to go through any of this, I still wish it, but I know that they are and will continue to be blessed for accepting such a huge challenge in this life. Our Heavenly Father had faith in them and knew they could handle it. Grace showed you just how strong she is today. She is conquering one of her greatest fears at such a young age. She is amazing and you are amazing too. She could never have made it through any of this with out such a loving family to guide her through it.
That's great! Love her play house. Can't wait to come see it and have her give us a tour. She's gonna love it.
Wow! I'm certain that I am NOT that brave! Way to go Grace!!! And... I LOVE LOVE LOVE what your friend Giles said. Really? Can I just ditto it? Beautifully written... and so true!
Grace is amazing! No, all of you are amazing!
Way to go sweet Grace!!! You are brave brave brave!!
Gracie is quite the amazing little girl, she is brave and strong and I have heard before that we should all do something once a day that scares us, so that we may learn to face our deepest fears, Grace is such a example to others!!! A little girl who has been through so much, but still smiles as wide as the sea. . .what lucky parents you are to have her sent to you! The Giles blog was beautiful and very touching, what a unique way of looking at cancer. Thank you for making my day. . .tell Grace we are proud to be in her family!! Love you all. . .
Way to go Grace. I think that is so brave, it brings tears to my eyes. I can only imagine what is in store for this sweet girl in the years to come.
