Today we were given great news that Grace is able to come home. There are some serious precautions we must keep since her numbers are still very low, so unfortunately she must lay low for a while and not go to school or have any visitors.
When we found out, Grace wanted to surprise Kim, Tanner, Eva, Ben and Annabelle who were waiting to hear the news from home so we quickly packed, signed the discharge papers and drove home. When we spoke to Kim during the morning we stalled saying we had not spoken to the doctors because they were running late and we should talk to them before noon. At noon Grace tiptoed to our door and knocked. When Kim answered she yelled surprise and gave her a big hug.
It is good to be home.

Yippee! I am so glad to hear it! I'm glad you have an extra day of this weekend to enjoy each other and lay low! We hope things just keep getting better and that she will feel better each day. She is always a part of our prayers!
WAA HOOO!!! I'm so so so behind the curve. I just got all caught up, and I cannot believe what you have been through in this last week. I'm so glad she is home. Lay LOW and be safe! We love you all!!
oh yay! glad she is getting better! yay for Grace and her fun sense of humor too!
I'm so happy to hear she is home with her family. Let me know if I can do anything for you. I miss seeing your sweet little family.
Kim, I am so glad that Gracie is back home. I am so sorry I have been such a lame friend and have not been caught up on all that is going on in your life. Bless your heart! That is so scary and so much to go through. Please know that we are thinking about you and praying for your family. Please also let us know if there is anything at all we can do to help. Lots and lots of loves.
I am so glad to hear you guys are home. I hope things stay that way for a LONG time. I know its so hard with flu season being here to try to keep the kids healthy. We are on our second bought with strep throat, but so far Avarie hasn't gotten it, but she gets to be treated every time, just in case.
I bet you were so surprised to see Grace at the door, what a WONDERFUL surprise.
With tears in my eyes and a smile on my face I am relieved to hear that Grace is home. I pray that things continue to be well for you all. We love you, all of us here in the Sands home!!
That is exactly where she belongs.......
