Eva playing

Our household has been struggling with the flu (except for Grace), but we wanted to update everyone as to what has been going on. Tanner just finished basketball and is about to start baseball and soccer. Grace has been doing well and decided she wanted to make dessert tonight. It was a delicious frozen masterpiece using strawberries, blueberries, and mandarin oranges. Grace and I also had the privilege of going to the Nike employee store, which was a lot of fun. This is a video of Eva we took tonight. She is so much fun and such a character. At one point she pauses thinking that I am going to take a picture since the video is shot with our digital camera. The shoes she proudly wears in the video are still on her since she refused to take them off and when we put her PJs on she insisted that she wear them over her footed PJs.

We have been dragging our heels to post based on the fact that we would like to still help Avarie and the Giles family. We have received a lot of help, but would love to continue. See below for more info.

Whoa! How old is she again? Not quite two and already knows her letters! That is amazing! She is a doll. I also like the video of her dancing to Lady gaga.

The movers are coming this Friday to take all of our stuff to a storage unit in VA for the next 6 weeks. I'll be in SLC with family for another month until I go, but as soon as things calm down around here I'd love to make a donation to Avarie. You have such a big heart for wanting to help others in a similar situation. It was also good to hear that you don't feel so alone. Thanks for your good example.

yes, she is a genious baby. Just another example of how you teach your children, where oh where do you find the time!! I love that part where she stops and says smile and JR is like "oh no, its okay, whats this letter right here?" He totally validates her wish to smile and keeps up the letter game...I loved it.

"smile" That put a smile on my face! She is sooo smart, and those new shoes are pretty snazzy! I love the video, and that JR didn't forget to show us the letters. That JR is pretty impressive too. :D
